It was a dark and stormy night, and Sarah was driving home from a late shift at the office. The roads were deserted and the rain was pouring down in sheets, making it almost impossible to see more than a few feet in front of the car.
As she drove down the winding country road, Sarah noticed a figure in the distance. It was a person standing in the middle of the road, their back turned to her. Sarah slowed down, thinking that maybe the person needed help, but as she got closer, she felt a sense of dread wash over her.
The person was wearing a long, tattered cloak that billowed in the wind, and their hair was long and matted. Sarah could feel her heart racing as she drew closer, but she couldn’t bring herself to stop the car. She drove around the figure and continued down the road, but as she did, she noticed that the figure had turned to face her, and its eyes seemed to glow in the darkness.
As she drove on, Sarah couldn’t shake the feeling that she was being followed. Every time she looked in the rearview mirror, she thought she saw a shadowy figure lurking in the darkness. The rain was still coming down hard, making it even harder to see.
Suddenly, Sarah’s car started to sputter and lurch, and she knew she was in trouble. She pulled over to the side of the road and tried to restart the car, but it wouldn’t budge. She was stuck, alone in the dark, with no way to call for help.
That’s when she heard it. A low, rasping breath, coming from somewhere outside the car. She turned on her phone’s flashlight and shone it out the window, but she couldn’t see anything. The breath continued, getting louder and more frantic.
Sarah was terrified. She knew she had to get out of the car and run, but she didn’t know where to go. As she opened the door and stepped out into the rain, she felt a cold, clammy hand grab her ankle. She screamed and tried to kick it off, but it was too strong.
She looked down and saw a face, twisted and contorted in pain, staring back up at her. It was the figure from the road, and it was dragging her down into the darkness.
The last thing Sarah saw was a pair of glowing eyes, and then everything went black.
